We are pleased to announce registration is open for the 2027 NYAPT WINTER WORKSHOP! Participate in two days of educational opportunities filled with important, timely and trending information. This mid-year program is a great educational and networking opportunity for all members of your transportation team! It serves as a refresher for top managers and other supervisory staff on important school transportation program elements useful to improve your transportation operation back home. Our industry partners will be on hand exhibiting and participating throughout the event.

Leadership Development and Certification Program Courses - All Are Welcome!
9:00 - NYS DMV 19-A Certified Examiner Refresher
The New York Association for Pupil Transportation will conduct a 19-A Certified Examiner Refresher in conjunction with the Winter Workshop on February 17, 2027. This refresher training is required every three years by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. The NYAPT course is an approved New York State Department of Motor Vehicles refresher course.

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Leadership Development and Certification Program Course - "Lead with Purpose: The Power of Mission, Communication, and Emotional Intelligence"
Effective leadership begins with a clear sense of purpose, strong communication skills, and an understanding of how emotions influence our interactions with others. In this engaging and interactive session, you’ll explore your personal leadership mission, discover strategies to communicate more effectively, and learn how emotional intelligence can strengthen relationships, build trust, and enhance your ability to lead and inspire others. Walk away with practical tools to become a more confident, intentional, and effective leader.
All are welcome to attend this inspiring session. Note: This is a repeat of the December 2025 regional workshop.

Cancellation:
Registrants are responsible for adhering to the registration cancellation policy regardless of payment status. If payment has not been made, the registrant is responsible for the cancellation fees noted.
Conference cancellations must be received in writing/email at membership@nyapt.org prior to 5 pm, February 03, 2027 (NO phone cancellations will be accepted). Refunds, less the $25 cancellation processing fee, can be made ONLY on cancellations received before 5 pm 2/03/2027. NO REFUNDS will be made after that date. ---> NO-SHOWS will be billed and expected to honor their invoices.
