At its 2011 Annual Meeting in Saratoga Springs, the New York Association for Pupil Transportation issued its Annual Report to the Members. Entitled “Success, Progress and Vision” the annual report was presented by NYAPT President, David Christopher of Shenendehowa CSD.
Christopher used his remarks to discuss the legislative activities and successes of the association and to call attention to the hard work of members and committees to develop new learning programs “to ensure the safety of our students and the continued efficiency of our operations.”
NYAPT and its partner, the Cyr Foundation for Excellence in School Transportation, pledge to continue to bring sound and cutting edge education programs to the school transportation industry and to advocate for reasonable and responsive state policies, laws and budget provisions to aid in keeping children safe.
NYAPT and the Cyr Foundation are hosting over 265 members of the association for their 53rd annual conference. The conference will also include a trade show with over 70 exhibitors from all aspects of the school transportation industry.
